Good day all

My name is Adolfo S, I live in Panama City, Central America.

I have a few months been looking for a statue that was placed in Madeira a few years ago in honor of all captains of tuna boats that have worked hard. My dad is one of those.

This monument is a statue of a seaman. It honors around 30 captains that have left the town being very poor people in the cane fishing boats, and now they own all the big houses at Madeira.

But, I'm not able to get a picture of this statue. I would like to know where is this statue located? They have made a very big party of around 3 days when they inaugurated the statue. Can you give me more info or do you have any pictures regarding this?

My dad's name is Adolfo Pereira Silva and in the front of the statue it shows the name of all these captains I think his name is the first. I know that this statue is next to the sea. It's located at sitio do piorto, sitio da quebrada.
