Video Description
The headland at Ponta do Garajau used to be commonly known to the British community in Madeira as the Brazen Head. The walk along this rocky outcrop has been considerable improved recently. Now with safety fences all the way to the tip of the headland, all you have to worry about is all those steps!
On the way, you pass the statue of Christ the Redeemer which was erected in 1927 and has also recently received a face-lift. But, the statue isn't the only thing to see here. If you want some spectacular views of the southern coast of Madeira, then this has to be one of the best places.
