"I bought a P300 (instead of an S95) for 3 reasons; 1. It feels better in my hand than the S95 and you can use it one-handed without feeling like you are going to drop it. 2. I don't shoot or process raw being from the old school of 'get it right when you take it'. 3. It is ever-so marginally larger than the S95 but, for me, the 24mm and longer zoom makes it more usable. I can take the P300 anywhere and as they say - the best camera is the one you have with you. So far, the results are great, although I am still working out how to make the best of the post-shot options including Nikon's D-lighting in camera touch up which is very good. Finally, the low light results are outstanding due to the fast lens and image stabilisation. I can't remember being able to shoot so well at night and indoors even with my old 35mm and a fast prime lens."
