"I have happily used an Olympus x-875(point and shoot) for over a year. After completing an albeit basic photography course using digital SLR cameras, I decided I wanted a more 'grown up camera', to improve my skills and take better pics. Sadly my budget couldn't stretch to any SLR cameras, after reading reviews online I decided to purchase the Fuji S2800HD - as the next step forward. I only received it today (delivery was exceptional!), and I'm not a person who is comfortable with instruction manuals!

I absolutely love it!! I still haven't looked at the manual - but have already managed to take video pics, macro pics, panoramic pics, along with 'normal pics! I could download them onto my pc just using the leads without having to use the cd!

It's just so easy and the initial results are brill!! The zoom is amazing!!! I love the fact that you can 'point and shoot', but also have the option of manual controls - I've tried them all.

As I've been so inspired I WILL read the manual, so that I can get the most out of this super camera.

The 4Gb card is a complete bonus - as you don't have to worry about how many shots you take. The case is more than adequate, and it's good that the lens cover attaches to the strap. The rechargeable batteries are still on charge and have been for 9hrs, but I think they will be a bonus. As I you don't have to rely on trying to get batteries when they die!"
